Help!
We've had our brand new HH LS trailer for almost 6 wks.  So far so good at various parks.  smiley   When we hooked up at this park the "city water" would NOT operate.  Checked hoses, etc, to no avail.  So we're using the fresh water tank and pump for water.  Not too sure what's wrong, so we've removed filter widget at trailer hookup point and are replacing it.  Hope things work.   Sad
Have any of you had similar experiences?  Any advice?   Sad

Have you taken the water filter and water pressure regulator out of the hookup?  That is, just hook up the hose at the tap, verify water at the end of the hose and connect that to the trailer.  I had a pressure regulator go bad once where it shut off the water flow.

Do you use quick connect water connectors?  They sometimes go bad also and shut off water flow.

I suggest you open a couple faucets before you turn on the water at the stand pipe just in case of high pressure. It probably would be okay but better to be safe.

We had the same problem as Ed.  A bad pressure regulator.  It was only a couple months old, and it was the last thing I thought would be the problem.

If all else fails, turn the pump off relieve the pressure take the hose off and check the check valve where the water hooks up to the trailer.  You will have to pull out the little screen than you can push in on the check valve to see if it collapses.

Is it true that you can boil the inexpensive water pressure regulators in water to remove the mineral buildup?

Try mixing white vinegar and hot watter.  Submerge the regulator in it and let set.  Works great in our expresso machine when it clogs up with minerals.  Make the solution with plenty of viinegar

When done, flush it out and see if that helps.

We were in a park in Texas in January.  When I connected the hose and turned it on, nothing happened.  There was a plate on the ground, so I pulled it up and found a shut off valve down in there.  Problem solved.
