We were at Las Vegas RV Park for a few days and I saw a card on the bulletin board for a Yamaha EF2800i generator for $400. Went by the guy's trailer and checked it out. Looked brand new, the man told me he took it in trade a couple years ago for installing a wood floor. He had never run it. It had gas but we could not get it started. Didn't really want to buy it, but after thinking it over went back and offered the guy $200 bucks for it and he took the offer. Dropped it off at a Yamaha place today in Cedar City, Utah and they'll check it out and get it running. They said they would check it out, clean the carb, put new gas in it and get it going. I figure that was a pretty good deal. I'll just be sure and run it for a few minutes every month and keep it in good shape. I was happy.

Such a deal!  Sometimes you're in the right place at the right time.

I've been looking for a used Retrax bed cover for my truck, but haven't found one close enough to home.  I'm too cheap to buy a new one Roll Eyes

Good deal.  Don't run it just a few minutes each month.  You need to run it 2 hours under a 15 amp load each month.

Great deal for $200. Considerer putting in some Sta-bil in the gas tank each time to fill it so the carb won't gum up.

Speaking of Yamaha generators.

Some of you know I bought a Yamaha EF2400 generator a few weeks ago (I had a thread going). Guess what, I'll sell it for $900. Cost $1194.99 from Wise Equipment in Illinois (on line).  Still in the box, haven't even put gas/oil in it. At 75lbs, its heavier than I thought it would be and I don't want to go lifting and carrying it around. I would rather not mount it in the bed of the truck.

PM me if interested.
