Good question.  I think that peanuts are easier to open but I like both.  Of course, I still have about 6 lbs of peanuts from the
G & G.   shocked   grin   laugh

Don,
I know it's probably abuse of power but I decided to give myself a raise as Moderator (of the Campfire) and unfortunately there weren't any shells left to pass along to anyone else.   grin   evil

I'm beginning to think he's the only one who is holding down a moderator job too.  I know my boards have been rather quiet since most of the discussion lately has been forum policy and not HitchHikers, and the lifestyle.

How about them HitchHikers?   cheesy

Greg,

You are right. After seeing Gary's post this morning about taking some time off I feel guilty. All I have to do anymore on my board is move some posts once in a while. In the meantime, everything is breaking loose around the campfire. Too bad we can't spread the "wealth" around a bit.  Sad

Bryan,

Don't spread yourself too thin buddy. If you need some assistance give us "slackers" a call.

Greg and Don,
Hopefully, things will cool down Around the Campfire for awhile and we can get back to just lying back and popping the tabs on a few cold ones.  I much prefer it when the hardest decision is deciding which brand, and glass or can.   cheesy   grin

I hope so.  Seems like last time I sat around a real campfire with a bunch of HH owners was at a Mid-Atlantic HitchHiker get-together last year.  It was mid-summer in Williamsburg and the campaign was in full swing - and the funny part is, I don't remember a single person discussing the campaign, who was going to win/lose and why, who they were going to vote for, or what they thought of the candidates and their policies.

Things I remember discussing:  The neat graphics on a tow vehicle that matched their HH, the decision to sell the house and move into a smaller apartment rather than go full-timing in the trailer, LCD installations, how neat those little umbrella screen things were to keep the flies off the food at the continental breakfast get-together each morning, where we were going to go for supper one evening, who went where during the day for sight-seeing and was it worth the time.

If you won't say it to somebody's face around a real campfire, it don't need to be said behind the shield of anonymity provided by the web around a virtula campfire.

Yeah, Bryan, you can always count on me.  Us Jersey people have to stick together, even though you are a transplant, since there's not too many of us on here.   grin  You really do deserve a raise with the week that you've had "around the campfire".
Seriously, all the 4 Amigos and moderators do a great job and we all appreciate it and this fine forum.

OK Carol, if truth be told, I lived in Ramsey most of my childhood, graduating from HS there. Guess I am going to have to chip in for that raise. He IS doing a good job. Perhaps I can rustle up some nuts from NJ to give him.  Wink Ellie

So lets see. Bryan was the only "SUCKER" to say yes. So that makes Bryon the best choice. Nice way to put it Gary.

Congratulations Bryan. We know you will do a great Job.
