I have a 99 Snowbird SE102 - 36+2 with the Young's welding #51580 short pin box.
Has anyone put an extended pin box on the 51580 and what was it?
I'm having just a little conflict with the clearence on the hauler bed on F550 and am trying to decide on cutting off the bed's headache rack or going with an extended pin box. Need a least an 8" extensiion to do the job.
Thanks, Mike

Mike,
I would suggest contacting NuWa and asking them (800-835-0676).  They would know if there is any reason that you can't add an extended pin box on a Snowbird.  If it can be done, they would also be able to let you know which extended pin box they recommend.

I believe Young's Welding has provided extended pin boxes for SE 102 models.  Not often, but I think they agree it is workable.  If one is wanted it needs to come from Young's via NuWa's parts department.  Talk to Rose at NuWa.  MIKE

Thanks Bryan and Mike.
It's time to put the cut off blade on the circular saw if this doesn't work.

I bet Young's can fix you up with an extended pin box.
