Hey Chief,
If you're familiar with the DICNAVAB (Dictionary of Naval Abbreviations), these RV acronyms should be a piece of cake. ;D

If you've been in the military these terms are mostly wrong. DH, DW, DD, DS all stand for "dependent husband, wife, daughter, and son. At least that's what the military called them when they issued them to me...

Where do I go to learn what all the initials mean? I see people talking about their LKRSB's and CKRD's and, as I mentioned in my intro, I'm clueless.

Not exactly. In NuWa speak, RSB stands for Reverse Side Bath. I think Mike told us this, but you if you look at the floor plans, they are all on the right, so maybe Mike was wrong.

Thanks, that makes much more sense. I thought there were just lots of different models the I didn't know about. Didn't realize it meant floor plans.
Are the only 4 models the ones that are listed on the website? I see Discover America, Tourning Coach, Champagne, and HH II. Are there names of older models that are comparable to the new models?
And, I'm still concerned about which ones are more likely to hold up to FTing in the winter.

The original design was SB for side bath. This is the bath on the 37CK and other models where we originally enclosed the bath on the non door side of the trailer. When I created the side bath on the door side of the trailer we coined the term "reverse side bath" to differentiate between the Side bath design and the "new" reverse side bath design. Sorry, but it is meaningful to our production people. The new use of three digit DA models will allow identification of a unit without any reference to letters, although we will continue to use letters with the model name. Champagne models will continue as at present. MIKE

Deb, we just wintered in our Champagne in Seattle and outside of a few minor problems (not related to the trailer) I was impressed. We found that running the fireplace and a small radiant heater kept the furnace from running and cycling all night and saved us a ton on propane. It was quite "toasty" in the 20 something temps.........Dave

The one that took me awhile to figure out was SOB. I thought I knew what this meant until I saw it used several times on this forum and not quite in the context I was familiar with.
On the forum I'm guessing these initials stand for "Some Other Brand" of RV - other than a NuWa.

I know,
several times when I have written SOB (after I was educated by this group) I was hoping everyone would know what it meant! I like the acronyn.
