Anybody used these stabilizers?  How do they compare to all the other stabilizers on the market?

I have researched all the brands of stabilizers and these seem the best. They seem to be the easist to set after your jacks are down. I have ordered a set and they should be here by Friday. They are being installed next week. I will report back when we are able to camp and use them. We are planning a week at the coast on or about 09/13. I talked to the owner and inventor of these and he answered all of my questions about installation and use. He said JT stabilizers take several adjustments after the jacks are down.

His website has been improved with more installation pictures and product feed back. He also has a sale going on with reduced price and free shipping. His product also has a 60 day money back guarantee.

I received the Fed Ex delivery today. I have an appointment with an independent RV repair man for Monday. The packaging was well done with the bags of assorted fasteners marked with letters corresponding to the enclosed instruction manual. All parts look well made. I will let everybody know how the installation went.

The JTs do not take a lot of adjusting after the jacks are down.  I have been selling them for four years and installing and using the that long.  They are the most simple to use.

The stabilizers were installed on Monday, late afternoon, and finished Tuesday morning. We had to wait until Tuesday morning after late afternoon thunderstorms came through the area. I had printed out the installation instructions from the website so I would know how to install them. I thought about doing it myself, but sometimes that doesn't work out for the best. The first stabilizer took extra time because my DA has gas pipes running down both frame rails at the front of the trailer. We determined the drivers side would be better. We also needed to clear the black tank pull handle. The instructions say the front two bars clamps should be about the same distance from the front jacks. The frames are about 60 inches apart, so the brace from the left front jack running along the frame came very close to the same distance. Again the important consideration was clearing the black tank drain handle. It slides over the top with no interference. After the extra time with the first stabilizer, the other two were easier. The left front jack has two bars attached to it at it's new foorpad. One bar goes towards the back of the trailer and the other crosses underneath the trailer to the right frame rail. There are clamps bolted to the frames at those points that tighten on the bars. If I don't make sense, the website installations explain it better than I do. The brace across the back is attached to the left crankdown stabiler jack and the clamp is mounted to the frame that would carry the hitch if we had one. The RV repairman has put JT's on but not this brand. That might have made it take longer. Of course we me asking all kinds of questions, that probaly didn't help either! We are going to a park in Fredericksburg this weekend so I will report again. When the trailer was parked on the blocks that I leave under the front jacks I tightned the stabilizers on the front and pushed on the front of the trailer. It felt very stable. When its blocked up correctly I am looking forward to the test to see how well it worked.

If you still have movement with JTs you missed something in the setup.

Second that.  The JT's take out everything except coming down the stairs from the bedroom to vigorously. If you try or jump to hard, you can get a up and down bounce from the springs being the center support for the frame.  But side-to-side and front-to-back shake is GONE!

Then I must be missing something. I added jacks at the axles to remove spring bounce too.  JT's take out most of the movement but not all.

The jacke you added may be the problem, they lift and take the set out of the JTs.  Reset the JTs after the spring jacks.

This is the way I would check a bracing stabilizer that has excess movement.

1. Set up the trailer and bracing stabilzier as per manufacturers directions.
2. Have a someone push hard on the trailer to make it move.
3. While it is moving inspect each bracing ficture, component, fastener, and jack base for movement.  If any of these have movement then the trailer will move.

Most likely problem for a 6 brace system would be a loose fastener, loose locking handle, a chassis attachment that is not solid (such as a loose bolt,  weak cross member, or storage compartment bottom), or lose piviot points due to not taking the all the play out of the braces.

Hope this helps and good luck!

We tried out our new stabilizers this weekend. Great improvment! They are easy to lock after the jacks are down, only 3 handles to tighten. I did forget to loosen the handles once when lowering the jacks. I guess I don't have my routine down yet. After setup the difference was amazing. Very solid. I noticed after we had been setup for a day a little more movement. I rechecked the jacks in the back and the one without the new footpad was loose. After tightening the jack back to the original position non-movement. I have to agree with Steadyfast that the pads, jacks and stabilizers all need to be setup correctly. I did notice a little movement in the kitchen, but that is tire and suspension movement. I had seen a JT system  on a fifth-wheel the other day and I like the tightening system on Steadyfast better. Granted I don't know how well JT's work but I like the system and setup that Steadyfast has engineered. Questions, PM me.

I have been using the JT's for about four years. The JT"s seem to work good. Last weekend I was at the Pomona RV show and purchased a set of the Steadyfast stabilizers. I took the JT's off and installed the steady fast to see which set works better and easier to set up. The JT's took out about 90 percent movement after setting up the trailer according to the directions. The Steady Fast took out about 95 percent of the movement and was much easier to set up and tighten the locking handles. After comparing both brands on the same trailer 31LKTG, I like the Steady Fast better.

Feel free to ask me any questions about either brand.

I bought a set of these stabilizers 2 weeks ago.  I was really skeptical at first because I just didn't understand the mechanics of how they worked (And still don't), but was truly surprised at how well they work!  All I have to say in one word is WOW!!!  Don't waste your $$$ like I did on the king pin tripod.  These things took almost all of the shake out of my camper.  The only thing I feel now is the vibration on the floor when people walk.  Other than that, the camper is completely still.  I can't remember the guys name who sold me the product but he was very helpful.  I needed them within the next few days before I left to use my camper and he shipped them to me that day.  Also, he gave me his cell phone # in case I had any problems during the install.  The install was very easy, just time consuming.  Other than attaching one end to the rear jack and the others to the front landing gear, I had to drill 12 holes in the frame of the camper to attach the bars (4 on each of the 3 stabilizer bars).  That took the most time but I wanted to make sure I was doing it right.  Once they were installed I took the tripod off the king pin and it was perfect.  Now, once I level camper all I have to do is tighten 3 large wing nuts.  Thanks Steady Fast for a GREAT product!!!!
