After living in our 08 348SB for nearly 2 years I continue to be impressed with the little details, details that go unnoticed when just walking through or shopping trailers. Just as an example I counted 20 lights and 9 plug receptacles in the living room kitchen area. The lights are a good mix of 12V-120 so no matter which you need you have adequate lighting. The receptacles are located in such a way extension cords are never needed. This may not seem a big deal to some but when "living" in one the long winter nights make lighting important. The basement lighting is the same, I found  new one last night while hooking up a water hose. ---- The electrical s are but one of the many examples of things the uneducated buyer may overlook. Like they say it's the things you don't see that are often more important. ------- Pieman

Pieman,

Isn't it great how living in a NuWa product just keeps getting better, what a testimonial for the product.  Dick & Chris

This is but a little example of that "intangible value" I attempt to communicate to non HitchHiker owners.  Spending a little more up front is often a wiser investment.   May I use these comments as a testimonial on our web site?   This is the power of communication of experience that website viewers need to hear.   MIKE

I'm impressed everyday when I read how owners enjoy their HH 5th wheels and when Mike posts it's just icing on the cake.  We can't wait to be the proud owners of our own HitchHiker 5th wheel.   cheesy cheesy

We are extremely happy with the engineering of our rig.  I have actually tried at times to figure out ways to increase storage space, better placement of outlets or just to improve our overall floor plan.  Each time, I end up deciding that there really isnt much room/reason to improve our floorplan, even if we had a do-over chance.

The only issue on the engineering side of the rig we'd like, is for an electrical wiring diagram to be available.

I, like I am sure many buyers, tended to overlook some of the day to day living features like outlets, lights, and other seemingly minor details when making a purchase decision.  There's a tendency to get wow'd by the wood finishes, countertops, and etc,,and to overlook the details that in the end make a rig a more pleasant living experience.

The other day I was under my 348 SB greasing the spring shackles when I just laid back an looked the bottom of it. I was thinking how neat, and few people if any ever give much if any attention to. The spare tire mounted up into the frame, high enough it won't be drug off, the belly covering neatly installed and a section molded that covers the tanks and valves should you ever have to replace or repair a dump valve. Then there was those massive brake drums that looked like they were off a tractor trailer. Of course one of my favorites, the white powder coated frame. Think I'll serve dinner under there next time I cook out--------Pieman

I'd suggest something in the pancake, or crepes line.  laugh

Seriously, isn't it all a marvel? To think, you are traveling around the country, dragging a "house" with you, and you are doing it with ease. I can't wait! Ellie
